The Lausanne Locket 1967 has a dark blue and white hardback cover. The pages are a thicker non-glare paper. New this year the inside cover shows a photo of Lausanne girls having a picnic down by the lake which is followed by an abstract drawing of the library. The book is dedicated to Lausanne's new headmaster Thomas A. Eppley, Jr. He is followed by his Faculty Staff. The Seniors section shows full page photograph of each senior followed by Senior Officers page and bio of each senior. The Underclassmen section contains class officers and smaller individual photos of every student in grade 9-11. New this year is Best Freshman, Sophomore and Junior page. Seventh through First grade shows group photos. New this year is the introduction of the Montessori Method taught to the preschool students. Miss Lausanne and her attendants are followed by the Best of the Seniors. Organizations includes: Quill and Scroll, National Honor Society, Proctors, Student Council, House Council, Honor Council, Locket & Column staff, The Forum, Book Discussion Club, Art Club, Chess Club, Library Service Guild, Monitors, Chorus, Daughters of Alumnae, and Dormitories. Introduction to Activities shows a big double page layout of the new gymnasium. Also shown is the European Seminar. Followed by several pages of snapshots. |
